Catch their new show, North Bay Beat, every other Friday from 8 to 10 pm, right after The Sports Phone. The four decades married couple plays musical homages to the last 70 years of rock, jazz, folk, blues, and fusion history with a special focus on the San Francisco Bay Area, Mendocino County and Northern California musicians. Hart was Public Affairs Director at KBSU, Boise, and News Director at KBNY, Nampa, Idaho, has done voice work for Musical Starstreams and was on the staff of New Dimensions Radio in San Francisco and Ukiah. Huxsol is a lifelong drummer getting his start with The Dream Children who had a big following in Boise, Idaho in the 70s. He sits in as often as time allows with local musicians throughout the county while holding down the office manager duties at Mendocino Solar Service. He has shared stages with Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Cheap Trick, Jean Luc Ponty, and has played locally with Will Siegel and Friends, the Pier Group, the Boontniiks, the Bob Day Quartet, and the Mixed Nuts. Drummer and music educator Ralph Humphrey's touring and recording fame includes the Don Ellis Big Band, Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, Akiyoshi-Tabackin Big Band, Al Jarreau, Manhattan Transfer, Seals and Crofts and Free Flight. He can also be heard on album projects by Wayne Shorter, Tom Rainer, Mike Miller, Jeff Richman, The Outsidemen, Babaghanoush, and many others.
