LOWER LAKE--The myriad of debris in Lower Lake left by the destructive Clayton Fire — at least on the state level — has been cleaned up, Lake County officials said Wednesday.
According to county Environmental Health Director Ray Ruminski, Cal Recycle completed its debris removal work on more than 150 properties in the burn area last week. Most were properties whose owners granted a right of entry to the state program while a handful were nuisance abatements issued by the county.
