Elections are coming right up, and there are three races for Supervisor in Mendocino County: 1st District (Potter Valley, Redwood Valley, Talmage), 2nd District (Ukiah), and 4th District (Fort Bragg). With Carre Brown of Potter Valley and John McCowen of Ukiah retiring at the end of this term, two new faces are sure to be on the board. Fourth District incumbent Dan Gjerde is facing a challenge from current Fort Bragg Council member Lindy Peters.
KZYX has scheduled live interviews with all nine candidates from the three districts, starting at 6pm on Monday, February 3. We’ll hear individually from each of the people who want to represent you every night until we’ve heard from all of them on February 13.
Best of all, we’ll open the phone lines to listener questions, so start thinking about what you’d like to ask your future Supervisor!
