The first group of new cannabis businesses have begun operating in Willits city limits under the city ordinance, and Modular Processing Systems is one of five who have opened up. The focus of the company is not creating products, but rather offering a hard-to-find service to cultivators and distributors to remove impurities from extracted cannabis oils left behind by pesticides and fertilizers while maintaining the potency. This allows the end products to come into compliance with strict state regulations.
