First Day On The Job For New Supervisors

Newly elected and re-elected officials being sworn in just before the first Board of Supervisors meeting of 2019.

January 9, 2019 -- The county's top cop and district attorney welcomed new supervisors to the dais with cheesy puns and salty snacks yesterday. Then, after the welcome reception, the first Board of Supervisors meeting of 2019 got underway. New supervisors John Haschak of the third district and Ted Williams of the fifth district asked plenty of questions, starting with the consent calendar and mental health expenditures. You can check out their first day on the new job here.

Sheriff Tom Allman, Auditor Lloyd Weer, Assessor Clerk Recorder Katrina Bartolomei, Treasurer Tax Collector Shari Schapmire, Fifth District Supervisor Ted Williams, Third District Supervisor John Haschak, Superintendent of Schools Michelle Hutchins, and District Attorney David Eyster, were sworn into service on Tuesday, January 8, 2019.
