On March 7th Mendocino County Supervisors John Haschack and John McCowen came to Willits City Hall along with Department of Agriculture Administrator Chevon Holmes. They were hosting the first of three cannabis ad-hoc meetings to let community members weigh in on potential revisions to the county cannabis ordinance.
Around 100 people showed up to discuss 5 potential changes listed on the ad-hoc agenda to consider, including allowing for an increase in farm size allowed for outdoor cultivation and allowing for more permits on each parcel. Many in the audience came with their own ideas and questions as well.
