August 23, 2019--John Haschak is Mendocino County’s 3rd District Supervisor. He was sworn in with Ted Williams of the 5th District in January of 2019, and before that he had 29 years in the classroom, as a Spanish teacher and teacher of English language development, at all grade levels. He was president of the local teacher’s union in Willits for 18 years, the Willits Teachers Association, and involved at all levels of California Teachers association and the NEA, National Education Association.
