Sarah (Shanx) Shankman

Sarah “Shanx” Shankman started working at KZYX&Z in 2022 as the Pledge Drive Assistant, and succeeded Renee Wilson in the Membership Director position in February 2023. She has lived all over Mendocino County since first visiting in 2007 and currently lives in Anderson Valley. She has years of experience in community organizing and is honored to now be working in local radio.

Shanx is a nature lover, wildcrafter, and plant enthusiast. She is currently completing a degree in Sustainable Food Systems from Prescott College.
