Sep 20, 2018 -- On September 19 and 20, there is a veterans resource fair at the Lakeport fairgrounds from 9-4. Veterans' organizations have gathered clothing, boots, and camping supplies for homeless vets, and Fritch Hall is packed with representatives from veterans' organizations all over Lake and Mendocino Counties. We'll hear from some of the organizers and people offering legal services, supplies, employment assistance, and advice on how to gain access to various benefits.
The fair is at the fairgrounds in Lakeport, at 401 Martin Street. You'll need your DD-214 or a veterans ID card.
