Oct 10, 2018 -- Last month, the fire survivor ensemble gave a performance that filled Bartlett Hall in Ukiah. They brought the crowd to its feet with dance, haiku, and monologues about how they survived last year's firestorm. I caught up with them in director Ellen Weed's living room, to ask about the intersection of life and art, and how telling the stories has affected their experience.
They'll give a repeat performance on October 20 at 7pm in the Redwood Valley Grange.
