The single largest portion of our income comes from our members.  Around 2,000 individuals and families every year support KZYX&Z financially.  Financial support (and volunteering) entitles an individual or family to membership in our community of listeners.  We are community radio so we need members from all financial levels to best represent the community. 

Our Board of Directors, the governing body of the station, is elected by our members.  The Board oversees the general manager of the station, and are the people that assume fiscal responsibility.  As a member you can vote for our Board of Directors.   We encourage members to attend their public meetings. 

We welcome donations on every level.  A “basic” membership is $25.  During our last pledge drive the average gift was $94.  That means that some people give a lot more and some people give less.  We have higher level options that range from ten dollars a month to a dollar-a-day.  We accept cash, credit cards, checks, and have over 100 members that let us draw money out from their bank account. 

Whatever your financial ability, and whatever level you want to support the station, it all helps.   All donations are tax deductible and we send out receipts. 

One final note, we never, for any reason, give out information about our members.  We don’t share your name, address, phone number, or email.  We will use it to contact you, or, if you prefer, we won’t even contact you.
