Underwriting

KZYX doesn’t play commercials. As a nonprofit broadcaster, we aren't allowed under federal law.  But we do sell sponsorship of individual programs, AKA "underwriting."  Underwriting is different from advertising.  Underwriting is a simple statement of who supports a program, goods and services offered and how to contact them.  It doesn't contain "calls to action" prices, sales, qualitative or comparative descriptions. It is a great way to support KZYX and in exchange we will let our listeners know what goods and services your organization offers. This can be a complex subject, probably best discussed in a phone call.
