The Problem Was a Power Supply

We were off the air for a few hours Thursday morning because a power supply failed up at the 90.7 transmitter.  We set up a workaround until we replace the part.  Thanks for your understanding.

Follow this link to listen to the audio archive of the Candidates Forum which aired Thursday March 5.

Listen and also read the candidates statements (listed in the column on the right of this page) and mail your ballots so they are received by March 31.

On Monday, May 27 at 9:00 AM,  Johanna continues her series Changing Climate - Changing World, a look at how our changing climate is changing the world we live in, locally and globally.

Part 6 looks at the connection between climate and top soil and how cows and other grass eating ruminants can help reverse climate change.

Johanna talks with veteran journalist Judith Schwartz, author of Cows Save the Planet: And Other Improbable Ways of Restoring Soil to Heal the Earth. Judith is at the leading edge of the movement that recognizes the importance of soil—for issues as close to home as our nutrition and as vast and global as climate change—as well as the potentially positive role of cows in that equation.

We also hear from Orion Walker, Sustainable Technology Program Coordinator and Business Instructor at the Mendocino College in Ukiah. He will be joined by local builder and biologist Jen Riddell, who will talk about her course "Build a Tiny House on Wheels", which starts on June 10. Orion will also give an overview of other classes starting soon, including a sustainability overview, green business, entrepreneurship.
