Wildoak Living Apr 15 at 9am - CHANGING CLIMATE - CHANGING WORLDS - Part 3
Part 3 continues to look at how climate change and a growing scarcity of fossil fuels will impact our food system and features two examples of adaption to these coming changes.
1. An interview with Eric Toensmeier, permaculture pioneer and author of Paradise Lot - the story of two plant geeks who created an edible garden oasis on a tenth of an acre in the city of Holyoke, Massachusetts and found their sweethearts along the way.
2. A TED talk by Stacy Mitchell, a researcher and writer at the Institute for Local Self-Reliance (ILSR), who argues for a new phase in the local economy movement.
