KZYX General Manager's Blog
It's Thursday August 9th. Pacific.net, who hosts our current website, is going to turn off the site on Aug 15th because it runs on an old and not secure version of the Joomla content management system. So I am working on the various tasks needed to get this version into acceptable shape. When we're done this will be a more secure (already is) and easier to navigate site.
A big change from the last site is that most of the communicating will happen via a bunch of blogs created for each of the local programs. Plus this blog here. Some of our programmers already have their own sites. Some have Facebook pages. And frankly, some don't much use computers. But for those who are up for it, each local program can have its own blog to keep you more directly up to date with whats happening with that program. And we hope to turn on comments in the blogs, once we get everything else set up.
