Thanks to everyone who helped us raise nearly $81,000 during our Fall Pledge Drive!

It was a real team effort, with literally hundreds of people pitching in to keep up the momentum. Whether you pledged your financial support, made on-air appeals, answered phones, donated food, time, or thank-you gifts, YOU MADE IT HAPPEN!

Our goal was $120,000 and it was based on real needs. While we didn't get there, we all worked together in an upbeat way to express our gratitude to the community that sustains us. We made tremendous strides towards keeping KZYX moving forward in its mission of listener service. You have once again proven your commitment to keeping local public radio alive and well. Thank you!

Christopher Hobbs, L.Ac., Ph.D. (cand.) is a licensed acupuncturist, author of over 20 books, and 4th generation herbalist and botanist with more than 30 years of experience with herbs. He lectures internationally and teaches classes on herbal healing at universities and medical schools, including the University of California, Berkeley, where he has taught and studied phylogenetics, specializing in medicinal plant research.

Leslie Gardner, RH (AHG), holds a Master's degree in herbology, has been the garden manager and a member of the core faculty at the California School of Herbal Studies, Forestville, CA (the oldest herbal school in America) for 19 years, and directs the Sonoma County Herb Exchange, a nonprofit cooperative linking medicinal herb growers and medicine makers.

MCPB Board of Directors

The next meeting of KZYX’s Board of Directors will take place on Monday, November 7th at 6 pm in the Conference Room at the Travelodge, located at 1720 North State Street, in Ukiah California. When our community participates by attending open meetings, the station benefits. These meetings allow time for public comment, and our Board always appreciates hearing from our members.
